Handaxes are small, multipurpose axes, somewhat similar in function to a modern camping of firewood-chopping hatchet, but larger and with different details. Unlike the curvier shape of hatchet handles, most traditional handaxes had simpler, straighter and often slightly lengthier handles. | Handaxes are small, multipurpose axes, somewhat similar in function to a modern camping of firewood-chopping hatchet, but larger and with different details.
