Meeting the spirit of the forest

The spirit of the forest can be met and addressed by sacrificing silver at an ant nest. You do it alone at night, and then wait for the spirit to arrive. Do not fear and he may speak and show himself to you before dawn.

Meeting the spirit of the forest can be accomplished with a power ritual spell where a cutting tool is used to shave pieces of silver ring or other valuable silver item while standing over an ant nest. This is initiated as a general sacrifice, and when done appropriately, a powerful spirit of the forest in shape of old man will approach the player character during the night.

The spirit's approach can be felt as strong connection with the otherworld. The spirit may reward or reprimand the player character based on their standing with spirits, the reward often being given as a valuable animal such as lynx that can be easily hunted and brought down in nearby region.
