The Mace is a considerably improved Club. While its blunt damage isn't quite twice that of the club, it is far more likely to deal serious or instantly fatal wounds to people and to larger animals like Elk and to cause "Crush" wounds, which bleed.

Basically a reinforced club. Most have metal heads, oftern with an elaborate pattern of knobs and ridges, affixed to wooden shafts between 24 and 38 inches in length. Some maces have metal shafts.
