All-round way to sacrifice something in order to please or thank the spirits and otherwordly beings in various occasions.
General sacrifice is a spell known to all characters. Initiating it from the interface for spells and magic means prompts the player to select an edible food item to leave as sacrifice for supernatural beings around them.
This spell will increase the player character's standing with spirits, and is important practice to ease survival in the wilderness. The spell should not be used more than once per day, as overusing the sacrifice needlessly will result in loss of standing with spirits. Spoiled food should also not be sacrificed.
During times of abundance, it may be appropriate to practice the sacrifice on daily basis, but general sacrifice is also the appropriate way of sacrificing first cuts of meat from significant hunted animals such as bear or elk or as a way of conveying thanks for surviving through significant events such as a battle.
