Plants usable as medicine

Tonic

Tonic effect is triggered a while after consuming any 1 piece of plant. It is recommended to eat it at "extremely tired" mark, but if you fall asleep it still works. The effect resets Vigour to 1/2 of "ready to drop" level. If timed right, you have to sleep about 50% less and having control over it, which is very useful for hard work or spring season agriculture. Tonic effect only seems to work once per day.

  • Analgesic - A painkiller.
  • Anti-catarrhal - An agent for suppressing catarrhal inflammation. Had no effect back in 3.16, please update if there had been changed.
  • Antiemetic - An agent that reduces nausea and vomiting.
  • Anti-inflammatory - An agent that reduces inflammation of wounds.
  • Anti-microbial - An agent that helps prevent festering of wounds.
  • Antiseptic - An agent that cleans wounds.
  • Appetizing - An agent that increases appetite.
  • Astringent - Topical for bleeding and form barrier.
  • Carminative - An agent that can counteract flatulence or indigestion. Had no effect back in 3.16, please update if there had been changed.
  • Depurative - An agent that cleans toxins in the blood.
  • Diaphoretic - An agent that promotes sweating. Also known as sudorific.
  • Gut-irritating - An agent that is mildly poisonous and irritates the gut.
  • Pectoral - An agent that strengthens lungs and treats chest disorders.
  • Poisonous - An agent containing poison, can be dangerous for consumption.
  • Refrigerant - An agent that reduces fever.
  • Sedative - An agent that acts as an anti-depressant, promoting sleep.
  • Stimulant - An agent that promotes physical activity.
  • Stomachic - An agent that serves to tone the stomach, improving its function and increase appetite. (The term itself is an archaism.) Had no effect back in 3.16, please update if there had been changed.
