It cannot be used for making a bow. But it can [[leash]] an [[Animal|animals]]


is one of three kinds [[tying equipment]] available in UrW, the others being [[Cord|cord]] and [[Withe|withe]]. 

Many crafting recipes which require rope can use [[cord]]; 
the only unique things rope is used for is [[leashing]] [[Animal|animals]] and for making a [[Raft|raft]]. 

When you [[trade|purchase]] an [[animals|animal]], you will receive a free rope with which to [[leash]] it.

In the [[carpentry]] skill menu it is named "Birch-bark rope".
to make the birch-bark first you'll need to use [[Timbercraft]] to "peel bark from a tree"

*80 ft of [[birch-bark strip]]
*cutting tool ([[Knife|knife]])
*1.0 lb [[water]]
