Real World Info
Cloudberry brambles, (Rubus chamaemorus), are creeping herbaceous plants, native to the Arctic and subarctic regions of the north temperate zone. They produce yellow or amber-colored edible raspberry-like fruit. Despite some demand as a delicacy in Scandinavia the cloudberry is not widely cultivated and is primarily a wild plant. Traditional liqueurs such as lakkalikööri (Finland) are made of cloudberry.
