A makeshift axe can be made out of a slender tree trunk, a stone and a piece of tying equipment. It is very low quality and drastically increases the time needed for a task. It is used as an alternative for axes bought from shops if there are none available or the player is far away from villages. A stone axe cannot be used to make boards.
A crude but effective weapon which can be used to cut down trees - although any timberwork with a stone-axe requires patience.
