Recipe
The following recipe can be made with just flour and water. It's a somewhat more complex version of the simpler porridge. Amounts are given in pounds (lbs).
Required ingredients
Required cooking tools
- Cooking pot - for holding the boiling water necessary for the porridge
- Heated fireplace - a burnt-out over fire with embers, for boiling the water in the cooking pot
Boiling
The required cooking process for the oven porridge is boiling flour in water, within a cooking pot placed inside a heated fireplace. Unlike other porridges, it can't be prepared under an open-air campfire, but only in a heated fireplace (with a burnt-out fire) inside a loghouse.
