In UnReal World's calendar, Dead is the second month of winter season. Its first day is the 4th day of 11th week before midwinter point and its last is 5th day of 7th week before midwinter point. Its real world equivalent is November. The last crop to wither, broad beans, withers this month but many berries and mushrooms can still be picked.
The weather is generally below freezing, and skiing is the best mode of transport. Waterways are frozen, with the exception of rapids and deep sea, making rafts and punts mostly unusable.
Being a winter month, drying food is possible.
