I looked at the wiki on the prices/value of various items. It all seems very out of date, from versions from years ago.

I have read that knowing the value of things...is partially kept hidden to avoid the game feeling..."too gamey"?

Is there any way to find accurate values for the current version? I assume that the value of things are known SOMEWHERE because it has to be programmed into the game no?

My main concern is knowing what things are worth making because are valuable and can be traded. I know boards/loop snares are a basic solution (which I have exhausted). But I have so much time to kill in game until my crops are ready I am trying to be economical with my time and make things by hand so I can trade them :)

Even if things were organized into tiers...like Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High value? Do you have any tips or suggestions?

The wiki values on price seem generally accurate and current to me, based on personal experience. All these pages seem fine to use to determine cost:

https://unrealworld.fi/wiki/index.php?title=Weapons
https://unrealworld.fi/wiki/index.php?title=Clothing
https://unrealworld.fi/wiki/index.php?title=Fur
https://unrealworld.fi/wiki/index.php?title=Prices

The last page uses squirrel hide as unit so you need to multiply it by 8 to make it comparable to the first two. The page on fur also gives prices in arrows which cost same as squirrel hides.

Oh, and note that player made clothing has reduced price, they are not suitable as trade goods.

I know I am answering two months too late but this data sheet is more or less up to date. I can't remember who made it, sorry about that.

The price for nets isn't 144 anymore, but the rest appear accurate.
