Stuck in punt by Ice sheets

So its early winter and I got in my punt to go retrieve my nets at a nearby body of water and do some active fishing. a few hours later when I row back to shore the shoreline is covered by ice sheets... Am i stuck? I have tried everything i can think of to get past but I feel like this awful timing has blown my game...

Is there any way out of this??

Whit the fishing skill, make holes in the ice. Advance one by one.

I can’t beleive I didn’t think of that.. I jumped out of the boat instead and tried climbing the ice to the shore... I BARELY made it(thankfully I had a fire burning nearby)

The quaff command also works for making a hole in the ice.
