Old seal man Rikkar just asked me to fetch him bog flowers, they aren't edible in any form should I be concerned for his safety? The safety of others?

I've acquired flowers for people on a number of occasions and they have yet to eat them. I wouldn't be concerned.

Just consider it to be an ingredient not intended for human consumption (or something to be processed further into something that isn't harmful). I don't believe there's any reason for concern.

If specified I'd assume he/she knows what it's doing.. As Palu Said, It might be used for other than eating them..
