Do BAC in its current state work with current 3.81/3.82 version?

Pretty well. Some things like ore scoops may be slightly bugged.

Has anyone tried this on the new 3.80 beta? It doesn't sound like there was changed that should break anything, but I am not a modder.

Is it cool if we try to work on it ourselves and post it here? Not sure I’ll get around to it, but in case I find the time.
