Suggestions / NPCs offering herbal knowledge?

When interacting with extremely friendly NPCs (maybe housewives?), it seems like they could offer some sort of herbal information, the way that some old men will tell you what the weather is like. Something along the lines of "did you know that milkweed can be applied to wounds?" or "the mushrooms over there are called sand mushrooms, and they are very poisonous."

It might even give some of the village women useful information they could share with the PC.

Not bugs / [Not a bug - 3.84.2] Drying fish out of season

I've just started playing a character with 3.84.2. I started in spring (while snow was still on the ground), and it allowed me to set fish up to dry. Fine ... but even after it started raining, it still allows me to hang fish to dry.

Are the "dry and cold" climate conditions just no longer necessary?

Gameplay questions / Savefile locations on a Mac?

Hi --

I've been playing URW for awhile, so I have a number of saved characters who are unplayable in the current version. I'd like to delete some of those save files so they can stop cluttering up my list of characters. Unfortunately, I've not been able to locate my save files.

I'm using a Mac, and I downloaded URW from the homepage, not Steam.
