Alright-figured it out. Something is wrong with the steam archive.

There's some kind of corruption with the package that's uploaded there because I've cleanly reinstalled many times but when I verified the installed files-it found like 70 that needed to be replaced. Now it's working.

So a dev probably needs to reupload a clean version. This kind of coincides with another bug report I read where the guy was having popping issues with a .wav file. I think something got corrupted.

Tried. still not working.

Only thing that seems to work is uninstalling the game completely. Deleting the directory. Reinstalling and not touching the window size or options.

The size in native its too small use. See attached.

after experimenting with it more. Once I switch it to fullscreen-I can't go back to windowed. Everything crashes it.

I messed around with compatibility options on the executable but no dice.

I thought maybe its the steam overlay-but im launching it from the installation directory which circumvents that.

On latest steam versions. Standard install. Windows 10.

The game runs ok on windowed but on fullscreen setting will freeze up before loading the world.

Is there some setting I can apply to make it..... go?

Priv- Didnt test.

I thought it may have something to do with the homestead or the quantity of items but I just made some cords out of killed njerps' clothes and I got a crash while scrolling through the list.

Now, there where a lot of items in this area (scattered across hundreds of meters) but I didnt get a crash until I made the cords.

Bry- you brought up that a lot of items crash the game but I've had a lot more than this without instability in previous versions. I think everything is related to the cords lengths improvements in the base game, yet we would be hearing more about it so I'd say that it's a compatibility issue with the latest version of both the mod and base. I'll come up with something better but it's random (reloading fixes) so it's hard to pin down.

Brygun. The only time I'm crashing is when I'm looking a pile of items. It could be that it's related to a tying equipment problem. Issue is, I can't narrow it down because it seems to be random.
